The Riad - a place where there aren't any windows looking to the outside, yet all of the rooms surround a magnificent inner garden and the rooms...

have windows connecting to the inner garden. The garden has a sunroof letting light in during the day, and habitants are meant to drink their mint tea and relax in the middle garden/terrace area that is always decorated with tile and has a fountain. The idea is a magnificent/royal inside that must be protected from any unwanted eyes outside of the Riad. We enjoyed this, especially breakfast on the rooftop terrace. However, during the night it acted as an igloo and without inside heaters it trapped the bone chilling cold inside! I had 5 blankets on my bed!
