FLORENCE! Definitely as beautiful as it is made out to be.

--- fashion capital! There were huge outdoor markets with really nice clothing and trinkets on almost every block! I have seriously never seen anything like it. And the neatest part was, all of these markets were new clothing, and with nice well known brands, not flee markets like everywhere else! I walked into one store where I saw a jacket that I really liked. When I asked the lady to try it on, she jumped to her feet grabbing it for me since I was an eager American (the Italian venders' favorite). When I tried it on, I was not too impressed, but I looked at the tag for giggles: 1500 euro! For a jacket that was similar to the red one shown below (which was 300 euro and I thought it was way too much!) And that is the fashion capital for ya. When in Florence!

AND here is the Duomo. This is a very famous cathedral that towers over the center of the little city of Florence. It pops into the sky over all of the other buildings like the big king watching over. You can pay to climb the hundreds of winding stairs up to the top of the big red dome - 8 euro for your work out and for the view! I decided not to pay because we went to a hill on the side of the city where we could see the Duomo and more!
