My specialty dinner party with Francesca and Friends in Orvieto! And Italian guitar!




The menu:
1. Salad with avocados, beets, and candied walnuts!
2. Spanikopita - Anja Style! I did not have dough for spanikopita, so I used croissants on bottom and top (brilliant), and then did layers of spinach, feta, mushrooms, and butternut squash! and then croissants topped with parmesan!
3. Home-made BBQ sauce on chicken! I used a specialty spicey jam that melanie gave me, mixed with vinegar and honey and a few other things, and then home-made italian tomato sauce, and then marinated the chicken in it, sautéed them, and then topped them with sautéed onions!
4. Dessert! Apple crumble with dark chocolate in the crumble! Then crumble is easy to make: 1 part sugar, 1 part flour, cup butter, and chocolate pieces. Presto!
5. Hunger (ate at 10pm, usual for the Italians!)
