Because of a raging flood that completely wiped out 3 towns of the Cinque Terre, we were unable to travel south from Sestri Levante and see that beautiful part of the coast for the first two day. So...we went went North instead! We hiked from S. Margherita, through Portofino, and then to a Tiny Beach town called San Fruttuoso with 2 restaurants and a church (that's seriously it) and had delicious fresh Mussels and Troffi (like small skinny gnocchi) with pesto for lunch, then took a boat back to S. Margherita for the afternoon!
